There are 29 Pantone autumn 2019 colours, 16 chosen from New York Fashion Week and 13 extra from London Fashion Week.
Chilli pepper, crème de pȇche, rocky road, summer fig, merlot and chicory coffee are just some of the hues that comprise a mouth-watering palette of warm deep reds, pinky-peaches and browns alongside rich blues and earthy greens. These colours are mellower and easier to wear than last year’s spicy shades and there are some lighter, softer colours that would be unexpected by most for the season.
My outfit with its easy-on-the-eye palette of soft khaki, peach and grey epitomises the new season’s palette. This beautifully feminine STEPPERS frame (STS-30012), is the perfect colour to complement the mellow tones in the tunic. It's made from the brand’s signature super-lightweight material, TX5 and is available in six colours. Mine, in the light matte peach, is very much like Pantone’s Crème de Pêche, one of the lighter-toned options that will continue throughout autumn and winter to spring. The colour is soft and understated and beautiful as a standalone hue and as an accent colour.
